Why this portal exists

The Model Y is the best-selling electric car in the world — yet the facts about it stay scattered: a spec sheet here, a road test there, the price somewhere else. This portal pulls all of it together in one place: ranges, variants, costs, safety scores, registration figures and background.

But a collection like this only earns its keep through three things: it is independent of the manufacturer, it doesn't gloss over weak spots, and it sources every number. You won't easily find that mix on other Model Y sites.

No ads, no manufacturer

Neither Tesla nor a dealer stands behind these pages. There is nothing to sell here, and therefore no reason to paint the Model Y in rosier colours than it deserves. The only measure is what is useful to buyers and drivers.

Including what bothers you

Creaky build quality, waits at the service centre, sudden price changes: such points appear here right alongside the strengths. Showing only the good sides is marketing — not information.

Numbers with a source

Every table, every ranking, every FAQ answer states where the figures come from — from tesla.com and the European Environment Agency and Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority to Euro NCAP and Wikipedia. What cannot be checked is not an objective statement.

More than the tech
